BACKGROUND 

 

J. Hover graduated college and his family wanted to throw him a celebration party. They asked me to create a fun and playful invitation that mimicked his personality.

 

STRATEGY

 

J. is a huge fan of jam bands and of music from the 1960’s and 1970's. He often wears concert t-shirts and tie dyes.

With this knowledge, I decided to leverage a fun Tie Dye background.

 

Together with his family, we decided that it would be cheeky to mention all of the nick names that J. has acquired over the years. Employing hierarchy and a visual device, I was able to make the copy heavy invitation easily digestible.
